ON COMMON GROUND

LogoThe environment is perhaps the most important issue of the day that can draw both society and Church on common ground, says Fr. André Beauchamp, a well-respected environmentalist and the author of Environnement et Église.

Different church groups and organizations, inspired by Sacred Scripture and Church writings, have stepped out and participated in the secular green movement. They have  found Fr. Beauchamp's observation to be true.

Christianity has consistently taught throughout history that people are to be good stewards of God's creation and  to care for all living things. Today, the Church is taking a more active role in promoting this teaching.
