Canonization of popes John Paul II and John XXIII
Two eras, two pastors, two great men, two saints.
During the last weekend of April 2014, more than 800,000 people were in Rome for the canonization of John XXIII and John Paul II.
On the last Friday in May, on the day of the Diocesan Patronal Feast, Catholics throughout the archdiocese of Montreal will gather at Mary Queen of the World Cathedral to participate in a Mass to give thanks for the two new saints.
Between now and May 30, we will be posting online some texts introducing the minds of these two holy men, as well as testimonies, anecdotes, and photos.
You have a memory to share? An anecdote to tell? A prayer? You are welcome to share your own memories too!
