Consecration of the Archdiocese of Montreal

Photo : Richard MaltaisIn a letter addressed to the faithful, Msgr Parent, vicar general, invited us to celebrate the concluding celebration of the Year of Faith which was held at the Cathedral on Saturday, November 23, 2013.

Through the initiative of the Archbishop, this was an opportunity to solemnly proclaim our faith in our baptism as part of the consecration of the diocese to the Sacred Heart through the maternal mediation of Mary.

The closing of the Year of Faith was also a new opportunity to testify to God's love at the heart of the world, with an ever greater faith that livens our hope and charity.

Here is a Dossier about this historic moment of the Archdiocese.
