50th anniversary of the Second Vatican Council

Considered as the most important event in the history of the Catholic Church in the 20th century, the Second Vatican Council symbolizes openness to the modern world and contemporary culture, mostly made of substantial technological progress, emancipation of peoples and increasing secularization.

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Council, we propose an overview to explain its consequences for our Church.
