In June of 2016, Archbishop Christian Lépine published a decree announcing a policy for Responsible Pastoral Ministry, preparing for its implementation as a pilot project in some diocesan parishes. The time has now come to present the first summary of what was carried out by the parish pastoral teams involved in the pilot project.

In collaboration with Aid to the church in Need (ACN Canada), Archbishop Christian Lépine presided a mass November 21 for persecuted Christians. It is the fifth time that Montrealers had come together to pray for all those who are persecuted for their faith.

Starting December 5, 2018, "Universal Jerusalem – Gerusalemme universale", the new temporary exhibition at the Marguerite Bourgeoys Museum, will explore the historic and cultural importance and the universal nature of the city of Jerusalem, long considered the centre of the world.

On November 23, during a prayer vigil held to celebrate the Feast of Christ, King of the Universe, Archbishop Christian Lépine sent forth on mission the diocesan youth registered for World Youth Day, which takes place in Panama this January with Pope Francis attending.

A couple who has tangibly supported family life for two decades are the recipients of the Bishop Crowley Memorial Award.
