On November 8, the Carrefour Intervocationnel hosted the 2025 Vocational Fair at the Saint Joseph’s Oratory, a renowned gathering and prayer site. The day featured testimonies, informational booths, and an opening address by Bishop Alain Faubert of Valleyfield.

This year marks a significant milestone for two ecclesial institutions with which our diocese has maintained close ties: both are celebrating 150 years of dedicated service to the Church.

Start 2026 On a Hopeful Note

For the first time, the young members of the International Youth Advisory Body (IYAB) met with Pope Leo XIV. The meeting took place last Friday, at the conclusion of the body’s second in-person gathering.

The Vietnamese Catholic Community of Montreal, formally recognized in the Archdiocese of Montreal as the Saints-Martyrs of Vietnam Mission (often referred to as “the Mission”), celebrates 46 years since its foundation.

From October 31st to November 2nd, the Montreal Catholic Challenge Movement gathered for its 47th retreat, a powerful weekend filled with faith, friendship, and renewal.
