MISSION:
The mission of our volunteer work is to provide practical assistance to our priests, making present the love of the Heart of Jesus. It is the maternal presence of the Church.
TYPES OF VOLUNTEERING:
A – On a regular basis
- Companionship-presence: friendship visits (at least once a month)
B – Other types of services and collaboration on a more occasional basis (depending on requests received):
- Accompanying priests to appointments (offering transport);
- Accompanying priests to appointments (only to accompany them, without offering transport);
- Visiting priests in hospital;
- Helping priests prepare for house moves;
- Collaboration in various activities organised by the Office of Pastoral Personnel for priests (e.g., dinner before Chrism Mass, priests' meetings, spiritual retreats, etc.);
- Support for administrative and/or management assistance, particularly for elderly priests (e.g., helping them make phone calls or use the internet, etc.).
