These three sessions propose a close reading of the texts we find at the beginning of the Gospel according to Matthew and the Gospel according to Luke. The focus will be on Joseph son of Jacob, Mary the prophetess and the birth of Jesus of Nazareth in Bethlehem.
How might these texts help us today bear Christian witness in the face of ongoing war in the land of Jesus, in Israel/Palestine today? How might that be?
