Following the recent attacks in Paris, Archbishop Christian Lépine offers a message of support.

Paris and France were struck yesterday evening by fanatics. The Archdiocese of Montreal shares the distress of everyone who is touched by this event and is praying for all the victims: the deceased, the injured and hurt, and their families and loved ones. Our prayers also go out to those who are providing assistance, law enforcement, civil authorities, the city and nation.

I urge all the diocesan faithful, parishes, and communities to take the time to pray, at home and at Sunday Mass, for the people who are hurting to find God's comfort and for us all to keep our faith in peace alive.
