Saturday morning, on the feast of Saint Marguerite-Marie Alacoque, about 100 people (representing individuals and groups who contributed to the diocesan annual appeal) attended a Mass of Thanksgiving celebrated by Archbishop Christian Lépine.

Jeanne Folly, assistant to the director of the Office for Development and Planned Giving, with her daughter Julie.

WWendy, a geographer by training, currently employed part-time at the Diocesan Offices, stood at the cathedral’s entrance to welcome the guests.

Caroline Tanguay, assistant to the vicars general on matters concerning religious heritage and art, caringly helped one of the donors, Francine Lemieux, get around in her wheelchair.

Katerine Perrault, co-director of the Diocesan Centre for Marriage, Life and the Family, showed the benefactors the way to the parish hall.

Sébastien Froideveaux, director of the Fondation du Grand Séminaire de Montréal, with Isabelle Correa, director of the Youth Ministry Office.

Two ladies, both benefactors and fans, chanced upon Most Reverend Christian Lépine, Archbishop of Montreal, in the vestry just before Mass.

A light meal for all to share.

The parish hall was full!

Archbishop Lépine was able to take the time to talk with some of the benefactors.

Time to eat some goodies together...
