Renovations of la Visitation church

A brand new look for the oldest church of Montreal, establish in 1751. The Visitation-de-la-Bienheureuse-Vierge-Marie, build on the border of Rivière-des-Prairies, allows the wonders of its origin to be discover.

90th Anniversary of the Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Parish

It was a rather cold and raining Sunday, but on Verdun's street, when we open the doors of the Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes church, we had an heartwarming welcome; friendly greetings, enjoyable encounters was ready for us!

Balcony view, where we could see the chamber celling. In the 90s, major work, undertake by priest Robert Paradis, was done on the church to give it a sheen effect. Consecration of St-Nazaire Church

The parish of St-Nazaire celebrated their 100th anniversary last year and on April 25, 2018, Archbishop Christian Lépine visited the parish for its consecration.

Our Archbishop quickly felt the anointing at the altar shortly after the blessing, in the center and at the four angles, the Saint Chrême (a scented oil blessed by the Bishop, which is also use for baptisms, confirmations and ordinations.) Refugee families rendezvous with Msgr. Lépine

The Archbishop of Montreal invited representative refugee families sponsored by the Archdiocese, together with their sponsors, to share experiences and to get to know one another at a gathering on Saturday, April 7, 2018.

Italian community celebrates a new saint

There was much to celebrate in St. Leonard last Sunday, as Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish joyfully welcomed Archbishop Christian Lépine to celebrate Mass and bless the image of newly canonized Saint Angelo d’Acri (1669-1739).
