Most Rev. Christian Lépine visited recently the community of Saint-Enfant-Jésus parish in Pointe-aux-Trembles!

The Chapel of Eucharistic Adoration was set up with limited resources in 2015. It offers a warm space, despite the fact that the walls and the ceiling are not closed. Nevertheless, says Christiane Gagnon, the parishioners come here to worship, and even if the walls are not closed, even if we do not have a ceiling that would reduce noises better, it is thanks to this small chapel that our parish has regained life. 90 years of gratitude

Sunday October 28, 2018, les soeurs missionnaires du Christ-Roi celebrated the 90th anniversary of their congregation’s foundation. For this special occasion, Monseigneur Lépine joined them to celebrate a Mass of Thanksgiving in the lovely chapel of their mother house in Laval.

Catechists from all over the Archdiocese Gather

On October 27, more than 250 catechists and pastoral ministers from Francophone, Anglophone and various cultural communities of the diocese were invited to a day of renewal to pray, receive formation and to meet with one another.

Diocese inaugurates a Mass of Thanksgiving to recognize donors

October 20, 2018

Saturday morning, on the feast of Saint Marguerite-Marie Alacoque, about 100 people (representing individuals and groups who contributed to the diocesan annual appeal) attended a Mass of Thanksgiving celebrated by Archbishop Christian Lépine.

WWendy, a geographer by training, currently employed part-time at the Diocesan Offices, stood at the cathedral’s entrance to welcome the guests.
Caroline Tanguay, assistant to the vicars general on matters concerning religious heritage and art, caringly helped one of the donors, Francine Lemieux, get around in her wheelchair.
Katerine Perrault, co-director of the Diocesan Centre for Marriage, Life and the Family, showed the benefactors the way to the parish hall.
Sébastien Froideveaux, director of the Fondation du Grand Séminaire de Montréal, with Isabelle Correa, director of the Youth Ministry Office.
