Everyone throughout the archdiocese is warmly invited to join in prayer at Mary Queen of the World Cathedral for the 24 Hours for the Lord initiative, which, at the request of Pope Francis, will be taking place globally on March 13th and 14th.

The Pope calls upon every Christian community "...to go out of itself and to be engaged in the life of the greater society of which it is a part, especially with the poor and those who are far away." Every parish is therefore invited to participate in this initiative, which is particularly relevant at this time of Lent.
