The mission of the Office of Social Pastoral Care (OPS) is to coordinate diocesan initiatives and services that relate to the social dimension of the faith, and integral human development. They assist pastoral personnel in their task of "encouraging Christian commitment to bear witness to the Gospel in the social field, with a concern to serve" It mobilizes the people of God around structuring projects that embody Christian charity and reflect the principles of the Church's social doctrine.
