“Hope does not disappoint” (Romans 5:5) was the theme of the diocesan retreat for priests that took place at the Oka rectory from January 27 to 31, 2025.

Twelve priests took part in this retreat, which was led by Mgr Terrence Prendergast, S.J., Archbishop Emeritus of Ottawa-Comwall.

This year, the retreat was bilingual, with two conferences a day in French and English. There was also daily mass, time for personal prayer, hours of adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and fraternal sharing.

Let us thank the Lord for this time of grace and pray for the fruits of this retreat for the benefit of the people of God!
