Prayer for vocations
Following the Synod of 2018 on Young People, Faith and Vocational Discernment
O Risen Christ,
the unexpected Pilgrim
on the road to Emmaus
instill in us the desire to extend a hand to the young
on their journey…
and the discreet audacity
to walk alongside them.
Give us the confidence
that, in sharing willingly with them our personal doubts,
beliefs and hopes,
and in our acceptance of
their aspirations, deceptions and expectations,
we may learn together to experience God
with words that unite us in a shared
experience that brings about a new desire
to seek Him along new paths.
