On Good Friday, Friday, April 18, 2025, Communion and Liberation (CL Canada) organizes the Way of the Cross through the streets of Old Montreal.
The procession led by Mgr Christian Lépine, Archbishop of Montréal will start at 9:30 a.m. from the historical Chapel of Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours to arrive at Mary Queen of the World Cathedral around noon.

For Good Friday, Communion and Liberation is organizing a Way of the Cross procession through the streets of Old Montreal, guided by Archbishop Christian Lépine. Departing at 9:30 a.m. from the historic Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours chapel, the procession proceeds to Notre-Dame Basilica, St. Patrick's Basilica and Gesù Church, passing through Place Ville Marie and arriving around noon at Mary Queen of the World Cathedral.

This event is an opportunity for people of consecrated life to get together and respond to Pope Francis' call, a year after his visit to Canada, to draw closer to aboriginal peoples. Two virtual information sessions are being organized in collaboration with ''Mission Chez nous'' to better understand the aboriginal reality, on Tuesday September 12 from 7pm to 9pm and Saturday October 21 from 10am to 12pm via Zoom. You are all welcome to this marian pilgrimage starting at Saint Irenaeus Church on May 6 2023 for the begining of the month of Mary!

The Way of the Cross procession, guided by Archbishop Christian Lépine, will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the historic chapel of Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours to continue to the Notre-Dame Basilica, followed by Saint Patrick Basilica and Church of the Gesù, then passing through Place Ville Marie to arrive around noon at Mary Queen of the World Cathedral.

This memorial of the Passion of our Lord on Good Friday is a public event open to all.

The participants led by Mgr. Christian Lépine will start the walk at 9:30 a.m. at the historical Chapel of Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours to continue to the Notre-Dame Basilica, followed by Saint Patrick Cathedral and Church of the Gesù, then passing through Place Ville Marie to arrive around noon at Mary Queen of the World Cathedral. Prayers and readings will mark the arrival at each station and the CL choir will perform Lenten hymns. Reverent silence will be observed during the procession.

Come visit the third largest Marian Shrine in North America.
Program for the day: Celebration of the Holy Mass at the Shrine, praying the Divine Mercy Rosary at 3 p.m. at the Old Shrine, outdoor Way of the Cross, free time to discover the place or to meditate.
On the way, we will stop to visit the Sanctuary of Sacré Heart and Padre Pio in Pointe-aux-Trembles.. Departure at 7 a.m. sharp by deluxe coach, from Mary Queen of Peace Church parking lot (11075 Gouin Blvd. West, Pierrefonds H8Y 1X6).
