We are appealing to everyone to mobilize and urge their MNAs to vote against the extension of “Medical Assistance in Dying” euthanasia.

Bill 11 violates several principles of the Church’s social doctrine: first and most obviously the principle of human dignity; but additionally, such principles as the common good (in not providing multiform assistance for living), subsidiarity (by forcing palliative care facilities to provide this form of “care”) and solidarity (by ignoring the detrimental consequences on the social fabric).
