On Thursday, May 11, 29 bishops from Quebec met again with Pope Francis before completing their first ad limina apostolorum visit in 11 years.

After a week of retreat in Ariccia, the prelates discussed with the prefects of the different Roman Dicasteries this week. They also met the Pope for the first time on Thursday May 4, exposing their pastoral challenges for nearly three hours.

The text of the speech of the President of the Assembly of Bishops of Quebec, Monsignor Paul Lortie, has just been published, as well as the general report which the Assembly had sent in advance to Pope Francis in anticipation of this meeting.
