Montreal

On Tuesday, December 12, priests and deacons from cultural and ritual communities of the Archdiocese of Montreal gathered at the Communauté Mère du Divin Amour. for a day of fraternity and retreat  with Archbishop Christian Lépine. During the day, the Gospel of John was shared, highlighting the word "BEGINNING", emphasized several times during Archbishop Lépine's reflection. He emphasized that the beginning, associated with God as Creator, constitutes the fundamental reality of our faith, a reality we are called to revisit every day.

Continuing his reflection, Archbishop Lepine noted that in our time, many people are seeking to give meaning to their lives, without always realizing that this quest is actually a search for God. This search is gradually being transformed into a thirst for God and Jesus Christ. He stressed that priests have a duty to name God, and thus to enlighten the lives of the people they meet.
