The Centre le Jourdain invites you to a day of renewal on March 26. Mgr Christian Lépine will be present to speak on the following theme: Keep on praising the Lord, Christ is victorious!

Written by Carmelle Jetté, member of Le Jourdain Charismatic Center

In March 2019, the pandemic prevented us from inviting Archbishop Christian Lépine, and we were very disappointed.

But at last, we are able to welcome Archbishop Lépine in fine form for March 26. He has chosen to speak to us on the theme of ‘‘Keep on praising the Lord, Christ is victorious!’’ Through all the difficulties that we may experience, the Lord urges us to keep trusting.

The Archbishop will without a doubt be able to rekindle hope in the hearts and minds of those who come to see him.

For the year 2022, the life project of the Centre le Jourdain is the rediscovery of the treasures that God has in store for his people. These treasures are gifts that can only be experienced through a personal encounter with Jesus Christ, the one and only Saviour of our lives, who invites us to undertake a conversion that is ever more profound. Gifts such as we would never have imagined will thus be revealed to us, and we will experience: GOD’S GIFTS FOR THE YEAR 2022.

In John 14:18, the Lord tells us, ‘‘I will not leave you orphaned.’’ His Word is the Truth and the Life. He proclaims the Paraclete, the Spirit of Truth who will instruct us in all things. The Pentecost that He created for his apostles and that He continued to bring about in his Church down through the ages is the same Pentecost that He still wants to offer us as his gift.

This new year is filled with treasures and gifts for all who have faith and who believe in the love of God towards his creation and who walk in his Commandments.

Whenever hardships befall his people and they cry out to their Creator, God opens his Heart to offer blessings to his children, so that we may know the generosity of his Providence.
In this beginning of a new year, we will see our faith grow as our prayer life is strengthened in the Holy Spirit. By the Word of life, our world was created, and the Holy Spirit acted to bring all things into harmony.

At the creation, God the Father, in his infinite Love, wanted to create life. Through his Son, the Logos of life, the Word was spoken, and the Holy Spirit moved to act.
God saw everything that He had made, and indeed, it was very good.

These Words of life invite us to contemplate their meaning. And so, as we see the Power of God at work though the Holy Spirit in his Word, we will witness conversions, healings and - why not? - even miracles…

You are invited to come hear the message of hope that Archbishop Lépine will share with us on March 26. He will spend the day with us, from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Other priests will also be on hand for the Sacrament of reconciliation. At 4:00 p.m., Archbishop Lépine will celebrate the Eucharist.

Participants will be required to present their vaccination passports, and we will be following all guidelines recommended by the authorities.
