On September 30, we are invited to reflect on the words “truth and reconciliation.” But for people of the First Nations, there is another word that brings hope: “healing.” 

On this day, we pay tribute to the children who were never able to go back home and to the ones who survived the residential schools, their families and their communities. And again, let us not forget to wear orange on this day of remembrance and solidarity!
