Montreal

Montreal, June 8, 2023 – Aid to the Church in Need (ACN) Canada is pleased to announce that the One Million Children Praying the Rosary event is back again this year and will take place on Wednesday, October 18. “Praying for peace in an increasingly violent and divided world is an important gesture for every Christian. Teaching children that through prayer, they, too, can be part of a global movement for change to bring about peace is essential,” says Marie-Claude Lalonde, National Director of ACN Canada.

“On June 22, we will launch our Religious Freedom Report 2023, which sadly confirms that there is no shortage of reasons to continue praying and asking for peace to come to pass. Please mark your calendars for the upcoming One Million Children Praying the Rosary event on Wednesday, October 18. The world needs children’s prayers. This special campaign can also be enjoyed as a family and by adults,” adds Ms. Lalonde.

In addition to children and their families, Aid to the Church in Need invites pastoral workers in parishes and schools to contact Valérie Vulcain, the campaign coordinator, to be included on the mailing list for campaign materials, which will be sent in August.

Ms. Vulcain can be reached by email at vv@acn-canada.org
