Holy Name of Jesus Parish welcomed over 120 participants for an unforgettable evening of faith and fellowship at the “One Million Children Pray the Rosary” event, inspired by Aid to the Church in Need’s global initiative. The atmosphere was filled with anticipation, as youth and children took the lead in a powerful display of communal prayer, all united in their mission to pray for peace and unity.

The event wasn’t just about prayer—it was about creating a joyful, shared experience that highlighted the beauty of the Rosary. Children, teens, and families were at the heart of the evening, discovering not just how to pray the Rosary, but why it holds such deep meaning in our lives.

The night kicked off with a fun icebreaker, bringing parents and children together in laughter and connection before beginning the intergenerational Rosary prayer, led by young voices and supported by all. The community came together in a truly meaningful and touching experience.

A highlight of the evening was a beautiful photo booth backdrop featuring Mother Mary, creatively crafted by a talented young adult from the parish, where families eagerly posed to capture memories of this special night. The evening concluded with shared snacks and conversations, allowing time for reflection and fellowship.

By the end of the night, participants left with their hearts full and a deeper appreciation for the Rosary’s significance. The event was a resounding success, reminding everyone of the strength and unity that prayer brings—especially when the community gathers with one voice to pray for peace in the world.
