In his message for the XXXIInd World Day of the Sick, Pope Francis emphasizes the fundamental need for human beings to be in solidarity, particularly in times of illness and loneliness. Warning against individualism, the Holy Father calls for an approach to health based on compassion and relational closeness. In the meditation, he urges us to counter the culture of indifference by fostering tenderness and fraternity, placing the sick and frail at the heart of our concerns.
