Since 2020, the Church celebrates the Sunday of the Word of God on the third Sunday of Ordinary Time. Based on Pope Francis's Apostolic Letter "Aperuit Illis" from September 30, 2019, this designates the third Sunday of Ordinary Time for celebrating, studying, and spreading the Word of God.
