On March 10, some 150 people, mostly women but also several men, including ten bishops, met by videoconference to celebrate the involvement of women in the Church in Quebec in the aftermath of International Women’s Day on March 8.

As the vaccination program continues in Quebec and across Canada, it is necessary, I feel, to assess the situation and to shed some light on ethical considerations regarding COVID-19 vaccines.

The Archdiocese of Montreal invites parishes and all who so wish to pray the novena to St. Joseph from March 10 to 18, in preparation for his feast day on March 19.

A National day of remembrance for victims of COVID-19 has been declared by the Government of Quebec and will be held on Thursday, March 11, 2021. Faith communities have been invited to participate in this event.

Even during a time of social isolation on account of the Coronavirus pandemic, the Sunday liturgy continues to nourish prayer and reflection during the whole week – whether we are meditating on the readings or participating in a television broadcast of the Mass and making a spiritual Communion.
