A state funeral will be held in Montreal on August 9 at 11 a.m. Presided by Most Rev. Christian Lépine, Archbishop of Montreal, the funeral Mass will take place at Mary Queen of the World Cathedral.

Archbishop Christian Lépine has just validated the pilot project of Responsible Pastoral Ministry and announces the beginning of its general implementation in the whole Archdiocese of Montreal.

As part of their priestly formation, seminarians Bruno Cloutier (far left), Pascal Cyr and Emanuel Zetino will be ordained deacons on Friday, August 31 at 7:30 p.m. at the Grand Seminary of Montreal.

Archbishop Christian Lépine extends an invitation to all the People of God to make, together with him, a missionary shift, which will be launched Friday, September 14 on the feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, at 7:30 p.m. at Mary Queen of the World Cathedral.

All are invited, on June 24, to celebrate the Nativity of St. John the Baptist by taking part in a Eucharistic procession, followed by a Solemn Mass at Saint-Jean-Baptiste Church.
