It was Friday the 13th; nonetheless, Montreal's cathedral, our cathedral, would be consecrated to God, during a majestic celebration, in the presence of a cheering assembly.

Félix de Valois Dadjeu and Pierre Joannette will be ordained permanent deacons during a celebration presided by Archbishop Christian Lépine on Friday, November 10 at Mary Queen of the World Cathedral, beginning at 7:30 p.m.

On Monday, October 2, Notre-Dames-des-Victoires Parish opened the doors of its vacant rectory to provide safe housing to asylum seekers. The initiative, called "The Bridge", involves the entire Archdiocese with the support of Archbishop Christian Lépine.

Addressing the entire Church in his message for World Mission Sunday 2017, which will be celebrated on October 22, 2017, the Holy Father stated, “This occasion invites us to reflect anew on the mission at the heart of the Christian faith.”
