Pope Francis is inviting all believers to open their hearts to God and to overcome a "globalization of indifference" in his message for Lent 2015 which was released on Tuesday in the Vatican.

In this Year of Consecrated Life, Archbishop Christian Lépine publishes a message to the faithful of the diocese.

More than 30 parish communities, including the Melkite community, came together to celebrate the World Day for Migrants and Refugees on Sunday, January 18 at the Scalabrini Centre for Refugees and Immigrants.

This year, the theme of the annual campaign and of the week of prayers for presbyteral vocations exhibits a note of joy and hope: “God is still calling today … what if we helped them become priests of Jesus Christ!”

In a letter addressed to the faithful of the diocese, Archbishop Lépine appoints Msgr. Roger Dufresne as episcopal vicar for deaneries and for evangelization for the francophone parishes.
