On the World Day of the Sick, the Archbishop of Montreal will preside an Anointing of the Sick Diocesan Mass Celebration in honor of Our Lady of Lourdes on Wednesday February 11, 2015 at 7 PM at Mary Queen of the World Cathedral.

Welcome to all faithful, sick, elderly and those in waiting to undergo a major surgery!

A Eucharistic gathering of the community to pray for the needs of those who are coping with illness, limited mobility and other health issues,  their health care workers and caregivers.

This year, the Holy Father's Message is entitled: "I was eyes to the blind, and feet to the lame" (Job 29.15). In his Message, Pope Francis invites the ill, as well as the professionals and volunteers in the field of the health care, to reflect on the wisdom of the heart. "This 'wisdom' is not theoretical, abstract knowledge, the product of reasoning. Rather, it is, as Saint James describes it in his Letter, 'pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, without uncertainty or insincerity' (3.17)," the Pope states in his Message.
