At a time when Christians enter into the Lenten Season, the conseil Église et Société (Council on Church and Society) of the Assembly of Quebec Catholic Bishops believes that it is « relevant to reflect together on the ways that corruption destroys the ideal of a just society, and on the ways we can overcome this obstacle. »

This is the purpose of the document Awaiting the Charbonneau Commission Report : a reflection on corruption. This text is meant for all those who care about the welfare of today's society. It is accompanied by study questions in order to better grasp that corruption is a cancer on the bodies of our societies, to discover the causes of corruption and to identify avenues to fight corruption.
