Archbishop Ivan Jurkovič, Apostolic Nuncio to Canada, will preside over a solemn mass at 10:30 a.m. this Sunday, October 13, 2024, at St. Nazaire Parish in LaSalle. The mass commemorates the 40th anniversary of the Œuvre de Jésus Miséricordieux (Work of Jesus the Merciful), a key movement housed at the parish since 2019, known for promoting the Divine Mercy devotion in Montreal.

The Œuvre de Jésus Miséricordieux has been active in Montreal for over 35 years, initially brought to the region by Father Bernard Signori at the Parish of Notre-Dame-des-Sept-Douleurs in Verdun. In 2019, the movement established its current home at St. Nazaire Parish.
