Diocesan Celebration of the World Day for Consecrated Life
Montreal
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Consecrated Life,
Dear Members of our Diocesan Community,
As the Church prepares to celebrate the World Day for Consecrated Life on February 2, the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord, the Archdiocese of Montreal invites consecrated women and men—and the wider diocesan community—to gather in prayer and thanksgiving.
Each year, this day offers a moment to recognize the gift of consecrated life and the many ways it enriches the life and mission of the Church across the world.
In Montréal, the celebration will take place on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 10:30 a.m., with a diocesan Mass celebrated by Archbishop Christian Lépine at the Sanctuaire du Saint-Sacrement
(500 Mont-Royal Avenue East, Montreal).
All members of consecrated life are warmly invited to take part in this diocesan gathering, which will bring together religious communities from across the Archdiocese to pray, give thanks, and celebrate their shared vocation in communion with the Archbishop.
To register, please fill out the following form: Célébration diocésaine de la Journée Mondiale de la vie consacrée 2026
For further information, please contact 514-925-4300 (ext. 288 or 289) or write to vitaconsecrata@diocesemontreal.org.
With gratitude and prayerful best wishes,
Sr. Jacqueline Tchamgbade, SNDT
Sr. Guerla Alexis, SP
