On November 18–19, 2025, Carrefour intervocationnel hosted an online webinar exploring the vocation of the catechist. Active since 1982, the Carrefour’s mission is to foster a true culture of vocation, highlighting the many forms of calling and commitment within the Church.

During this virtual gathering, participants were invited to reflect on their role as catechists through an interactive quiz, using the Kahoot platform. Featuring true-or-false and multiple-choice questions, the activity offered a dynamic and engaging starting point for discussion. It also provided an opportunity to clarify the distinction between the terms catechist and catechetical minister, setting the stage for rich dialogue among attendees.

A concise slideshow guided participants in examining their personal understanding of the catechist’s ministry. Small-group discussions allowed for the sharing of perspectives around the central question: “Is being a catechist a true vocation?”

The webinar concluded with a plenary session, in which participants reflected collectively on their insights, deepening a shared appreciation of the catechist’s essential role in the life of the Church.

We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who participated in this Carrefour intervocationnel webinar, contributing to the depth and quality of the conversation.
