The Institut de formation théologique de Montréal (IFTM) is pleased to invite you to the launch of the book La Trinité et la famille : quelle analogie ? Étude historique, written by Bishop Lionel Gendron. 

Is it possible to speak of God the Father, Son and Spirit using the image of the human family? The author draws on his talents as a teacher, pastor, theologian and researcher. 

This free event marks the opening of the 2024-2025 academic year.

* Bishop Lionel Gendron has been Bishop Emeritus of Saint-Jean-Longueuil (Quebec) since 2019. A Sulpician priest with a doctorate in theology, he has worked in Colombia and Canada in the initial and ongoing training of pastoral agents, priests and lay people. A long-time professor of dogmatic theology and theological anthropology, he continues his research into the mystery of the human being created “in the image and likeness” of God.
