National

In observance of National Indigenous Peoples' Day on June 21, Mission Chez Nous is pleased to introduce a new resource titled "Dreaming Covenant Paths Together," featuring liturgical recommendations for your communities. These suggestions are presented to inspire all Christians to foster solidarity between Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities, and particularly to “rekindle the desire for genuine encounters.”

On June 21, for National Indigenous Peoples Day, we recognize and celebrate the history, heritage, resilience and diversity of First Nations, Inuit and Métis across Canada’ who, according to the Canadian Constitution, are recognized as the three groups of Indigenous Peoples.” (Indigenous and Northern Affairs website - Government of Canada)
