Montreal

Dear Brothers and Sisters in the Lord, We have the honour of inviting you to the 25th anniversary of the Festival Marial taking place Saturday, October 1, 2022. On that same day, we will also celebrate Patron of the Missions St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus, as well as the first day of the Month of the Rosary.

The celebration will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Latin American Misión Santa Teresa de Ávila, located at 1420 Bélanger, Montreal (QC) H2G 1A4. The event is organized by a Spanish-speaking multi-parish team representing several communities, and this year will mark 25 years of the celebration.

The purpose is to make Our Mother Mary known and to love her even more. This year’s theme is: “Mary, Consolation and Loving Mother of Mankind.”

We have the great joy of counting on the presence of Archbishop Christian Lépine to be present this year from 9:00 a.m. until noon. He will participate in the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, as well as providing a formation inspired by the theme of the day.

In addition, Our Mother Mary has given us the gift of the presence of our new Auxiliary Bishop, Msgr. Frank Leo. He will be present throughout the day. In the afternoon, he will give a formation and will also preside over the Eucharistic celebration.

Some other activities taking place in the afternoon include the singing of songs of praise to Our Mother Mary, testimonials from families who received the statue of the Pilgrim Virgin in their home, some videos and a retrospective of former Festivals of the past 25 years.

You are cordially invited to join us for this celebration. May Mary, Our Lady of the Missions, continue to help us make her known and love her even more. Let us impart what it means to know Jesus and let us be able to communicate the Good News of Salvation to all our brothers and sisters who surround us. We thank you for considering our invitation, and we hope to see all of you there!
