Montreal

Dear Sisters and Brothers in Consecrated Life,

As we approach the World Day for Consecrated Life, celebrated in our archdiocese on Saturday, February 1, 2025, we extend a warm and heartfelt invitation to all members of the consecrated life and the diocesan community to join us in this important occasion.

This annual celebration, held each year on February 2, offers a special opportunity to recognize and give thanks for the gift of consecrated life within the Church. It invites us to reflect on the shared witness of faith, service, and dedication offered by consecrated persons to the diocesan community, the city of Montreal, and the world at large.

The year 2025 will also mark a Jubilee for Consecrated Life under the theme "Pilgrims of Hope." This special Jubilee is a time of grace, renewal, and unity—an opportunity to celebrate the rich legacy of those who have answered God’s call to prayer, service, and consecration despite challenges and uncertainties.

We warmly invite you to join this diocesan celebration—a meaningful occasion to come together in prayer, testimony, and joy with our archbishop and members of consecrated communities.
