Launch of the special 60th anniversary of the newsletter Passages: An issue to remember and an occasion to give thanks as we look forward to the future together!
Montreal
The Office de catéchèse du Québec warmly invites you to the launch of this issue of the newletter Passages bulletin, specially designed to highlight and celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of the OCQ. The virtual launch will take place Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at 1:30 pm.
To mark 60 years in this mission for the OCQ is also to celebrate and highlight 60 years of contemporary catechesis as it has blossomed here in Quebec, throughout the challenges and more difficult times, but also 60 years of living catechesis still thriving and full of meaning. Passing on the heritage of the faith and making the Word heard today is a mission that we are committed to living with all of you.
Dynamic and festive: an experience to live together!
Passages is an essential publication and to reflect its energy is undergoing a rejuvenation. Our launch will be an opportunity to reveal our new graphic signature, as well as the new webzine format that can be read on a tablet or a computer. You can see the headlines on the front page and also, very importantly, take part as a highly valued participant in the festive spirit that infects our team in this special year. This dynamic celebratory meeting will be an opportunity for us to look back on all the ground we have covered thus far and to express our gratitude as we envisage the challenges that lie ahead in continuing to respond to the spiritual needs of our community. We are tracing the path between honouring the past and launching into the future: let’s make it a date!
Please confirm your participation by noon on Friday, November 25, 2022: e-mail address: communications@officedecatechese.qc.ca
The Office de catéchèse du Québec (OCQ) is a non-profit organization that has been supporting the diocesan churches in their catechetical mission for 60 years. It is a shining example in its field, offering many varied resources for families, catechists and all those who are on a spiritual quest. Founded by the Assembly of Quebec Catholic Bishops Catholic (AÉCQ), it pays particular attention to the needs of the community, as well as the ongoing transformations in the realities of our social and ecclesial worlds.
The OCQ, a reference for resources!
