Montreal

Most Reverend Christian Lépine will celebrate a special mass in communion with the National March for Life.

Archbishop Christian Lépine of Montreal will preside over a special Mass on Thursday, May 14, 8 a.m., to celebrate the dignity of life, the family, the most vulnerable among us, their loved ones and their caregivers. This Mass will be celebrated in communion with the National March for Life (www.marchforlife.ca), which is traditionally recognized and celebrated on the same day.  The liturgy will be celebrated “in camera” (privately) at Mary Queen of the World and can be followed live here.

During this current crisis, many of us are recognizing our own vulnerability even more, and our interdependence of one another. The pandemic has brought to the forefront the need, more than ever, to uphold and respect the dignity of each individual.

Thousands of people gather annually in May for the National March for Life in Ottawa to celebrate and pray for the dignity of human life. Though we will not be able to gather in person this year on account of the pandemic, we can remain united in prayer for the dignity of all human life.
