In this JUBILEE year 2025, we have experienced the presence and action of the Holy Spirit in the Church. On Sunday, March 30, 2025, at the meeting/celebration held at Mary, Queen of the World Cathedral, with Archbishop Christian Lépine, the adult confirmands, and those asking for full communion, we were able to count 157 participants accompanied by their godparents, catechists and Faith companions. It is indeed the Holy Spirit on the path of the Church who radiates the light of hope on believers. These adults, whose conversion is based on the Baptism they have already received, have decided to grow in their Faith and give meaning to their lives. 

They were all introduced to Archbishop Lépine by the representatives of their respective parishes, followed by a time of prayer and listening to the Word. 

Archbishop Lépine began with a teaching-meditation on "THE WORD OF GOD". The Bible contains an inspired Word, and it is God who reveals Himself, it is He who speaks of His love for us and His commitment to us. He created us in His Image. Archbishop Lépine invited us: "to read the Bible in silence, and the Holy Spirit will help us to enter into the mystery of Revelation". 

Afterwards, small groups were formed to reflect on what they had heard, exchange ideas with each other, and ask Archbishop Lépine questions such as: 

What is Confirmation?     How can we give meaning to our lives? 

Archbishop Lépine defined Confirmation as a "Sacrament of growth" in the Life of God and a "Sacrament of Mission" to give and to love. 

To give meaning to our life:  what God wants to say to us, He says through His SON, His Word, because his Word resounds in our hearts like a light: "The Lord is the Way, the Truth and the Life".
