A novena dedicated to Saint Thérèse of Lisieux
Montreal
This upcoming October has been declared an EXTRAORDINARY MISSIONARY MONTH by Pope Francis to renew our faith, hope and generosity, as part of the mission.
The Diocese of Montreal is walking towards renewing its mission, toward evangelization. You are, therefore, invited to a novena dedicated to Saint Thérèse of Lisieux, the intent being the renewal of our mission. We will pray for the missionary worksite, and the evangelization and diocesan services involved. Here's the prayer for our work towards a missionary transformation.
Since Saint Thérèse of Lisieux is the patroness of the mission, she is being invoked on October 1, the Day of her Feast.
All are invited to take part of this novena. On this occasion, all Masses celebrated at Mary Queen of the World Cathedral, from September 22 to October 1, at 5 p.m., will hold the intent of the mission and invoke Saint Thérèse de Lisieux.
The parishes and missions of the Diocese are invited to join us where they are.
