Dear Brothers and Sisters in Jesus Christ,

Jesus’ life was devoted to doing good, to praying and to loving – totally, to the nth degree. It is a message that challenges and, at the same time, comforts us. We yearn for a love that is caring, that is true and authentic, that is a selfless gift of oneself.

This way of Truth and Love that Jesus follows is also the very same way that we are called to tread. It is the way we are wired, we are made, embodying the answer to our search for meaning in life.

Jesus himself is the Way, the Truth and the Life. He leads us. He is our model. He gives us the grace to follow in his footsteps.

There are joys and sorrows in our lives. There is a pandemic that still persists, loved ones we have lost, financial difficulties. There is a war in Ukraine, and there are millions of refugees. What the future holds is, without a doubt, uncertain.

In this Easter Season, as we brace ourselves against the winds of adversity and the waves surging over us, threatening life, truth and love, let us keep our gaze fixed on the Lord, the Crucified and Risen One. Let us say: “Jesus, I trust in you.”

Jesus Christ is with us and for us. He has the power to calm the storm and to calm our hearts. He can give us the strength to surmount all obstacles as we continue, in hope, to pray and to love.

May God bless you, in the Name of the + Father and of the + Son and of the + Holy Spirit.

HAPPY EASTER!
