As part of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity (January 18-25), an ecumenical celebration will take place at St. John's Lutheran Church on January 21 at 2 p.m.

The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity will be celebrated around the world January 18 to 25, 2017, on the theme Reconciliation - The Love of Christ Compels Us (2 Corinthians 5:14-20). The resources in English and French can be freely downloaded online from the website of the Canadian Council of Churches (CCC) and print materials may be ordered as well.

The theme invites Christians around the world to celebrate God's reconciling grace, call us to recognize the pain of the deep divisions which afflict the Church, and urge us to become ambassadors of Christ's message of reconciliation.
