This event, part of the celebration of the anniversary of Montreal’s founding, marks an important milestone in the preservation and dissemination of the legacy of Jeanne Mance, founder of Montreal and the Hôtel-Dieu de Montréal.

The new website, is accessible anywhere and at any time.

This platform will be regularly updated and will allow users to explore the history of Jeanne Mance, her legacy, the history of the Centre, and the latest news related to this historical figure. The site also offers a unique catalog of resources on Jeanne Mance, making it easier to access a wealth of documents, articles, and references for researchers, students, and anyone else interested in Jeanne Mance.

Although the Centre no longer has a physical location, it remains active, with staff available to answer questions and facilitate access to the history of Jeanne Mance.

Ms. Annabel Loyola, filmmaker and Jeanne Mance expert, is now responsible for the historical, cultural, and educational aspects, while Sister Mariette Chainey, rhsj, is in charge of the spiritual dimension and is the vice-postulator for the Cause for the Beatification of Jeanne Mance.
