Montreal

The Diocesan Centre for Marriage, Life and the Family is launching a series of monthly encounters for those wounded in their sacrament of marriage and who are seeking a path of healing and reconciliation.

Following the success of last year's program, the Diocesan Centre for Marriage, Life and Family is pleased to offer again a monthly series of encounters of listening, accompaniment and group development led by Mr. Francis Joannette, permanent deacon. Mr. Joannette holds a certification in psycho-spiritual accompaniment and has been serving the faithful of the Archdiocese of Montreal as a permanent deacon since 2016.

These monthly online meetings are meant to be a space of dialogue and sharing between adults who want to rebuild themselves in Christ in order to get back on their feet and continue to walk in faith.

“The Church must accompany with attention and care the weakest of her children, who show signs of a wounded and troubled love, by restoring in them hope and confidence, like the beacon of a lighthouse in a port or a torch carried among the people to enlighten those who have lost their way or who are in the midst of a storm”. Pope Francis, The Joy of Love, no.291.
