The Mass will be celebrated Sunday, March 20, at 2 p.m. at Mary Queen of the World Cathedral, at the intersection of Mansfield and René-Lévesque.

The Thanksgiving celebration will proceed as follows:
2 p.m. to 3:30 – Eucharistic celebration

“As Archbishop, you exude great joy in serving the Church with humility, rendering by your way of life a living witness to Christ and his Gospel. In the footsteps of the Good Shepherd, you follow the path of holiness, leading through example those whom the Lord has entrusted to your pastoral care. To your credit, you have resolved to put an end to all forms of abuse within the Church. We admire your courage and determination in leading our diocese along the path of truth, transparency and transformation,” said Auxiliary Bishop Alain Faubert.

“Thank you, dear Archbishop Lépine, for these years of faithfulness in the service of the Lord. We are very grateful for your dedication and enthusiasm in your role as shepherd of the Catholic Church in Montreal,” said Msgr. Frank Leo, Vicar General and Moderator of the Curia.

This Mass will also be livestreamed on the Diocese of Montreal’s YouTube channel.
