Montreal

Spring is just around the corner and, to mark the season of rebirth, why not make a blood donation to help others who need a transfusion of blood products to regain their health?

The Collecte du vendredi Saint is inviting you to the blood drive to be held on Friday, April 7th, between 9:30a.m. and 3:00p.m., at Cathédrale Marie-Reine-du-Monde at 1110, rue Mansfield, Montréal. The objective of this event is to receive 50 donors.

Héma-Québec recommends booking an appointment before going to the blood drive. You can call 1-800-343-7264 or easily do this online: www.hema-quebec.qc.ca/trois-facons-simples.en.html.

2,000 people who have never donated blood are sought every month. The response to this call will help ensure an optimal supply level. This mobilization among people who donate regularly and new people who will join in will enable Héma-Québec to continue its mission, which is to meet the daily needs of hospitals. Therefore, Héma-Québec is counting on the generosity of thousands of people.

Before arriving, it is recommended that you check your eligibility at www.hema-quebec.qc.ca/index.en.html, section Donors > Blood > Who can donate? If you still have questions, you can contact Donor Services at 1-800-847-2525.
