Welcoming Terrel Joseph as Executive Director of Catholic Action Montreal

Montreal
The Board of Directors of Catholic Action Montreal is pleased to announce the appointment of Terrel Joseph as our new Executive Director which began on April 16, 2025. We are enormously grateful to Jessica-Anne Jalea who has skillfully acted as our interim Executive Director since January of 2024, and who has been extremely helpful with the transition process.
Terrel Joseph comes to Catholic Action Montreal with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Concordia University, and more than 15 years of diverse professional experience in the Montreal English Speaking Catholic Community and beyond. He has occupied diverse roles, including Event Planning & Project Management for Saint Willibrord Parish; Campus ministry & Ecumenism for the Newman Centre of McGill University; Stakeholder Management & Public Relations with the Pillars Trust Fund; and Leadership Consulting both locally & internationally with Divine Renovation Ministries.
For a period of 10 years, Terrel focused his attention on the design and implementation of programs for non-profits and developed a consulting practice in organizational health, leadership, and strategic planning. During his 6-year term with Pillars, Terrel forged relationships with the pastors and teams of all 30 English language parishes in Montreal, helping to leverage the resources of Pillars to better equip them for their missions.
Terrel has dedicated most of his professional life to the service of others. “Helping others, both spiritually and practically, remains my core motivation”.
Terrel is well known in the Montreal Catholic Community for his engaging and joyful demeanor, infectious laughter, and skilled commitment to servant leadership.
Catholic Action’s mission is to gather the gifts, expertise and resources of the Montreal community in order to serve our neighbor. Putting our faith into action is what we do! We look forward to all God has in store for Catholic Action with the addition of Terell’s unique brand of skilled, collaborative leadership.
We hope you will join us in welcoming Terrel at our Annual General Meeting on May 27 at 6:30 pm via zoom.
Yours in Faith and Service,
Anna Graham - Chairperson
